      <title>PRICE UPDATE – book now and save</title>

      <description>As from the 1st September private sessions will be £75 per session and £700 for a block of 10 (that’s a saving of £50). Rehabilitation sessions will be charged at £80 per session. 


Sessions and block bookings booked before 1st September remain unaffected and will be charged at our existing rates. Prices of our semi&#45;private and group classes are also unaffected. 


The price increase is the first for two years and is required due to higher running costs.</description>

      <description>Prolates is proud to announce that you can now book sessions and courses easily with our new booking system.


The system makes booking your sessions simple, allowing you to view the availability of classes and instructors – so you know precisely what and who is available at any time. And if a class is full, you can join the waitlist for next time. Once a space becomes available you will receive a reminder email, or you can opt to book a session automatically once a space becomes available and you have credit arranged, in which case you will receive a booking confirmation email.


Before accessing the system, each user will need to set up a personal account with a password. Simply visit www.pilateskensington.co.uk and click on ‘Online Booking System’ in the top bar to set up your booking account today.</description>

      <title>Switch on to Power Pilates</title>

      <description>Jayne and Kim have introduced a new regular class to the Prolates timetable. Power Pilates is a fast&#45;moving, dynamic class which focuses on building body strength while developing flexibility. The new course is grounded in the fundamental principles of pilates: postural alignment, core control, strength and flexibility.


Power Pilates will suit all levels; however a basic knowledge of pilates movements would be advantageous. There are beginner and intermediate classes available, please sign up for the beginners class if you are new to pilates or simply want a less strenuous session. The classes are limited to a maximum of four people for an intense session with exercises performed on the reformer and trapeze table. The programme is geared towards sculpturing and toning the body. 


Power pilates is not suitable for anyone with injuries.

      <description>For many people, the best&#45;value way to do Pilates is through group classes. As well as saving you money, these sessions provide more options regarding when you can attend.


Our group classes involve a maximum of three clients and one instructor, so it’s always worth checking our online timetable to see if there’s a space. Alternatively you could book in with your friends. Sometimes it’s easier to stay motivated and meet your goals when other people you know are also involved.


If you’re new to Pilates, however, you need to undertake an initial assessment and we also recommend a few one&#45;to&#45;one sessions as a follow up. These will help determine your fitness goals and provide some understanding of what‘s involved.


Once you’re familiar with the movements it’s then up to you how to proceed. Some people like to mix group and one&#45;to&#45;one sessions. That way they get the flexibility in terms of time, along with the supervised, individual advice that can sometimes bring about real fitness breakthroughs.


You can download our list of classes directly from the site. Please note that we’ve added some new sessions in the evenings and on Monday afternoon at 1pm.&amp;nbsp; We welcome any suggestions you have regarding times, classes or any other aspect of our service.</description>
